Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, literacy, and math skills. Create and implement behavior management systems while developing interpersonal skills through learning, practice, and reflection. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system and facilitate whole-class instruction support. Plan and lead extended day, virtual, and after-school programs including academic enrichment, homework support, and student clubs. Create engaging classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student growth in attendance and behavior. Participate in facilitated reviews of student data and support whole-school initiatives to increase family engagement.
