Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to earn academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors. Work 1:1 and in small groups to develop literacy and math skills, create behavior management systems, and build interpersonal skills through reflection and repetition. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system and facilitate whole-class instruction support. Support extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework help, and student clubs. Create engaging classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and behavior.
