Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors through one-on-one and small group sessions. Develop literacy and math skills using varied learning activities, create behavior management systems, and collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress via City Year's data system. Support whole school initiatives by conducting extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework support, and leadership development, while co-leading events that recognize student achievement. Participate in facilitated reviews of student data and help create engaging, safe classroom spaces.
