Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance and develop positive behaviors. Develop literacy and math skills through varied learning activities, answer questions, and encourage assignment completion while implementing a behavior management system. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system and facilitate whole class instruction support. Create an engaging, safe classroom space and lead extended day or virtual programming including homework support, clubs, and service learning.
