Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary through high school students to improve attendance, literacy, and math skills. Develop behavior management systems and collaborate with teachers on whole-class instruction, breakout spaces, and in-class student assistance. Monitor individual student progress by collecting, recording, and analyzing data within City Year's student data system. Support extended day and virtual programming including academic enrichment, homework help, recreation, and leadership development. Create engaging classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student growth in attendance and behavior.
