Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance and develop positive behaviors. Design literacy and math activities, answer questions, and encourage assignment completion while implementing a behavior management system. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress through data collection and analysis in City Year's student data system. Support whole school initiatives by leading extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework support, and leadership development. Create engaging classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and attendance.
