Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary through high school students to improve attendance and develop positive behaviors. Plan and monitor individual student progress while collaborating with teachers on whole class instruction and breakout spaces. Implement behavior management systems and create engaging, safe classroom environments. Support extended day and virtual programming including homework assistance, clubs, and service learning. Collect, record, and analyze student data within City Year's system to facilitate progress reviews. Participate in facilitated reviews of student data and co-lead events recognizing student growth.
