Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors. Plan and monitor individual student progress while collaborating with teachers on whole-class instruction and breakout spaces. Develop literacy and math skills through varied learning activities, create behavior management systems, and support extended day programming including academic enrichment and leadership development. Co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and attendance. This AmeriCorps position includes 2-4 weeks of training, a bi-weekly living stipend, and eligibility for the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.
