Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, develop positive behaviors, and build literacy and math skills. Create and implement behavior management systems while collaborating with teachers on whole-class instruction and student data monitoring. Plan and monitor individual student progress, facilitate reviews of data entered into City Year's system, and co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and attendance. Support extended day and virtual programming including academic enrichment, homework assistance, and leadership development before, during, and after school. You will receive a bi-weekly living stipend, health and dental insurance, and access to therapy programs, with training provided for all tasks.
