Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct academic coaching and mentorship for elementary, middle, and high school students, focusing on improving attendance, developing positive behaviors, and enhancing literacy or math skills through one-on-one and small group sessions. Create and implement behavior management systems while collaborating with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system. Plan and lead extended day and virtual programming, including academic enrichment, homework support, and student clubs, to increase engagement with students and families. Support whole school initiatives by co-leading events that recognize student growth in attendance and achievement.
