Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors through one-on-one and small group sessions. Develop literacy and math skills using varied activities, create behavior management systems, and collaborate with teachers to monitor individual progress via City Year's data system. Plan and lead whole school initiatives including extended day programming, virtual sessions, academic enrichment, and student clubs. Create engaging classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and attendance.
