Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary through high school students to improve attendance and develop positive behaviors. Develop literacy and math skills through varied activities, answer questions, and encourage assignment completion. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system and facilitate whole-class instruction support. Create and implement behavior management systems while fostering interpersonal skills through learning, reflection, and repetition. Support extended day and virtual programming including homework help, clubs, and service learning. Co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and attendance.
