Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors through 1:1 and small group sessions. Develop literacy and math skills using varied activities, create behavior management systems, and collaborate with teachers to monitor individual progress via City Year's data system. Support whole school initiatives by conducting extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework assistance, and leadership development while creating engaging classroom spaces. Participate in facilitated reviews of student data and co-lead events recognizing student growth.
