Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors. Plan and monitor individual student progress while collaborating with teachers on whole-class instruction and breakout spaces. Develop literacy and math skills through varied learning activities, create behavior management systems, and support extended day and virtual programming including academic enrichment and clubs. Co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and attendance. You will receive health, dental, and vision insurance, a bi-weekly living stipend, and the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award. Training is provided for two to four weeks at the start of the year.
