Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors. Develop literacy and math skills through varied activities, answer questions, and encourage assignment completion. Create and implement behavior management systems while collaborating with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system. Support whole school initiatives by leading extended day, virtual, and after-school programming including academic enrichment, homework support, and student clubs. Recognize and celebrate student growth through events focused on math, literacy, attendance, and behavior.
