Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, academic success, and positive behaviors. Work one-on-one and in small groups to develop literacy and math skills while implementing behavior management systems. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system and create engaging classroom spaces. Support whole school initiatives by conducting extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework help, and leadership development. Recognize student growth through events celebrating achievements in math, literacy, and attendance.
