Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to earn academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors. Plan and monitor individual student progress while collaborating with teachers on whole-class instruction, breakout spaces, and in-class assistance. Work one-on-one and in small groups to develop literacy and math skills, create behavior management systems, and foster interpersonal growth through learning, practice, reflection, and repetition. Support whole-school initiatives by conducting extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework support, clubs, and leadership development. Create engaging, safe classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student achievement in math, literacy, attendance, and behavior.
