Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, literacy, math skills, and behavior. Develop individualized learning activities, answer questions, and encourage assignment completion while collaborating with teachers to monitor progress in City Year's data system. Create and implement behavior management strategies and foster interpersonal skills through reflection and repetition. Support whole school initiatives by leading extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework assistance, clubs, and service learning. Co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, attendance, and behavior.
