Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors. Work 1:1 and in small groups to develop literacy and math skills, create behavior management systems, and foster interpersonal growth through reflection and repetition. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system and support whole school initiatives including extended day programming, academic enrichment, and student clubs. Create an engaging, safe classroom space while participating in facilitated reviews of student data.
