Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors. Plan and monitor individual student progress while collaborating with teachers on whole-class instruction, breakout spaces, and in-class assistance. Develop literacy and math skills through varied learning activities, answer questions, and encourage assignment completion. Create a behavior management system and foster interpersonal skills using reflection and repetition. Support extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework help, and leadership development. Co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and attendance.
