Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors. Work one-on-one and in small groups to develop literacy and math skills, manage student behavior, and foster interpersonal growth through reflection and repetition. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual progress using City Year's data system and create engaging classroom spaces. Support whole school initiatives by conducting extended day and virtual programming for enrichment, homework help, clubs, and service learning. Create and lead events recognizing student achievement in math, literacy, attendance, and behavior.
