Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct one-on-one and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, academic success, and positive behaviors. Develop literacy and math skills through varied learning activities, create behavior management systems, and collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system. Plan and execute extended day programming, virtual sessions, and whole school initiatives including academic enrichment, homework support, and student clubs. Create engaging classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student growth in literacy, attendance, and behavior.
