Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, literacy, math skills, and positive behaviors. Develop individualized learning activities, answer student questions, and implement behavior management systems while collaborating with teachers to monitor progress in City Year's data system. Create engaging classroom spaces and support whole school initiatives including extended day programming, virtual instruction, academic enrichment, and student clubs. Recognize student growth through events celebrating achievement in math, literacy, attendance, and behavior.
