Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance and develop positive behaviors. Develop literacy and math skills through varied activities, answer questions, and encourage assignment completion while implementing a behavior management system. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress, analyze data in City Year's system, and create engaging classroom spaces. Support whole school initiatives by leading extended day programming, academic enrichment, homework support, and events recognizing student achievement.
