Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to earn academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors. Plan and monitor individual student progress while collaborating with teachers on whole-class instruction, breakout spaces, and in-class assistance. Develop literacy and math skills through varied activities, answer questions, and encourage assignment completion. Create and implement a behavior management system and foster interpersonal skills using learning, practice, reflection, and repetition. Support whole-school initiatives including extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework support, recreation, and leadership development. Conduct events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, attendance, and behavior.
