Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, literacy, and math skills. Develop and implement behavior management systems while collaborating with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system. Create engaging classroom spaces and support whole school initiatives including extended day programming, academic enrichment, and student clubs. Lead events recognizing student growth in attendance and behavior. Receive two to four weeks of training before beginning service in July or August 2025.
