Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, literacy, and math skills. Create and implement behavior management systems while developing interpersonal skills through learning, practicing, and reflection. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system and facilitate whole-class instruction support. Support extended day and virtual programming, including homework help, clubs, and service learning, alongside creating safe classroom environments. Complete 2-4 weeks of training before beginning service in July or August 2025.
