Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors. Work 1:1 and in small groups to develop literacy and math skills, create behavior management systems, and foster interpersonal growth through reflection and repetition. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress using City Year's data system and facilitate whole-class instruction support. Plan and lead extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework assistance, clubs, and service learning. Create engaging classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student achievement in math, literacy, attendance, and behavior.
