Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct academic coaching and interpersonal development for elementary, middle, and high school students through one-on-one and small group sessions. Develop literacy and math skills using varying activities, answer questions, and encourage assignment completion while implementing a behavior management system. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress and collect data within City Year's student data system. Support whole school initiatives by conducting extended day and virtual programming for academic enrichment, homework support, and leadership development. Create engaging classroom spaces and co-lead events recognizing student growth in attendance and behavior.
