Job Summary
Academic Tutors at Prep Academy Tutors provide personalized in-home tutoring to students from kindergarten to grade 12 across all subject areas. Responsibilities include offering academic support based on state curriculum, creating supplemental assignments, and communicating with parents about student progress. Candidates must be energetic teachers or subject matter experts with strong communication skills, committed to excellent customer service and capable of adapting to various learning styles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Massachusetts State teaching certificate or equivalent
- Current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate
- Two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher
- Experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College
- Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College
