Academic Tutor

Guide up to four students through the Gideon Math & Reading curriculum while helping them develop an independent learning approach. Stay positive and professional, grading all student work to ensure corrections are completed and answering questions using techniques like sounding out words or encouraging rereading. Monitor students at the table to keep them focused, quiet, and on task. Complete documentation of student progress and booklets. No experience needed; training is provided. This role supports children ages 4 to 13 in a calm after-school environment focused on academic mastery and building confidence.
