Job Summary
Plan and direct learning activities for adult incarcerated students, following the Windham School District curriculum guides; prepare and maintain lesson plans, administer and interpret diagnostic/achievement tests, and maintain student progress records. Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment; collaborate with staff on curriculum, assessments, and district/agency requirements; ensure confidentiality and professional conduct. This role requires using personal technology to perform duties remotely when applicable and adhering to SBEC/TEA policies and WSD procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- SBEC certification for area of assignment (Elementary or Secondary level in a foundational subject)
- Must meet SBEC requirements for area of assignment
- Personal technology required to enable remote work during job duties
