Job Summary
Plan and direct instructional activities for adult incarcerated students within Windham School District, following district curriculum guides; duties include maintaining lesson plans and attendance, administering tests, and collaborating with staff to meet district and TEA goals while ensuring confidentiality and professional conduct. Requires a Bachelor's degree, SBEC certification in the relevant subject area, strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to implement district policies and classroom procedures in a secure education environment. This role is full-time and based in Huntsville, TX, with in-person classroom duties and supervision of incarcerated students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- SBEC certification in area of assignment (Elementary or Secondary foundation subject area)
