Job Summary
Plan and direct learning activities of adult incarcerated students; follow the Windham School District curriculum guides for area of assignment; supervise classroom activities; maintain attendance and student progress records; administer diagnostic, placement, and achievement tests; participate in staff development and committee work; ensure confidentiality and professional conduct; collaborate with staff to meet district and TEA requirements; abide by WSD policies and 19 TAC Chapter 247 ethics and standard practices for Texas Educators; require Bachelor's degree and SBEC certification, with remote-work capability using personal technology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- SBEC certification in Elementary or Secondary level foundation subject area
- Must meet SBEC requirements for area of assignment
- This position requires personal technology that will enable the completion of job duties and responsibilities when working remotely
