Job Summary
Provide quality education to incarcerated students, plan and direct learning activities, follow Windham School District curriculum, supervise classroom activities, and participate in district staff development and TEA/contracting reviews. Responsibilities include maintaining lesson plans and attendance records, administering diagnostic and curriculum tests, arranging seating and materials, delivering clear oral and written instructions, managing student behavior, creating a positive learning environment, and complying with WSD and Texas Department of Criminal Justice policies. Requires a Bachelor's degree, SBEC certification for the assigned area, and the ability to work remotely with the necessary technology; strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- SBEC certification in area of assignment (Elementary or Secondary foundation subject)

- Ability to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures
