Job Summary
Provide quality education to incarcerated adult students in Burnet, TX, following Windham School District curriculum guides, plan and direct learning activities, maintain lesson plans and student records, administer and interpret tests, and manage classroom behavior. Collaborate with staff, participate in district and TEA requirements, and perform duties to support instructional goals while ensuring confidentiality and adherence to WSD policies and Texas education regulations. Must hold a Bachelor's degree and SBEC certification for the assigned subject area, and leverage personal technology to fulfill duties remotely when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- SBEC certification requirements for area of assignment
- Elementary or Secondary level certification in a foundation subject area
- This position requires personal technology that will enable remote work
