Job Summary
Provide quality education to incarcerated students and supervise classroom activities. Responsibilities include planning and directing learning activities, following the Windham School District curriculum guides, participating in staff development and meetings, conducting evaluations and self-studies, serving on committees, maintaining lesson plans and attendance records, administering tests, and applying knowledge and media in instruction. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to WSD and TEA policies while delivering instruction, managing student behavior, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Must meet SBEC requirements for area of assignment
- Elementary or Secondary level certification in a foundation subject area
- Ability to work remotely with personal technology
