Job Summary
Plan and direct learning activities for adult incarcerated students, following Windham School District curriculum guides; supervise classroom activities and maintain accurate attendance and progress records; administer and interpret various tests; ensure confidentiality and adherence to district policies; collaborate with staff on curriculum development, policy compliance, and district improvement goals; communicate clearly with students and staff, and create a positive learning environment aligned with TEA and WSD requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Must meet SBEC requirements for area of assignment
- Elementary or Secondary level certification in a foundation subject area
- This position requires personal technology that will enable the completion of job duties and responsibilities when working remotely
