Job Summary
Plan and direct learning activities for adult incarcerated students, following the Windham School District curriculum; maintain accurate attendance and student progress records; administer diagnostic and curriculum tests; create a positive, structured classroom environment and manage student behavior; prepare lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with TEA/WSD requirements; participate in district staff development, committees, and policy compliance; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and collaborate with staff to meet district and contract requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- SBEC certification requirements for area of assignment
- Elementary or Secondary level certification in a foundation subject area
- Ability to use personal technology for remote work as part of job duties
