Job Summary
Plan and direct learning activities for adult incarcerated students in Windham School District, following WSD curriculum guides and TEA requirements; supervise classroom activities, maintain accurate attendance and progress records, prepare and use varied instructional methods, administer diagnostic and curriculum tests, participate in staff development and district events, and ensure confidentiality and adherence to policies and procedures while delivering quality education in a secure environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- SBEC certification in elementary or secondary level foundation subject area
- Must meet SBEC requirements for area of assignment
- Requires personal technology to enable remote work
