Job Summary
Plan and direct learning activities for adult incarcerated students; follow Windham School District curriculum guides; supervise classroom activities; maintain accurate attendance and student progress records; administer diagnostic/achievement tests; prepare and use varied instructional methods; ensure policies and procedures are followed; communicate clearly with students and staff; participate in staff development and district/TEA evaluations; foster a positive classroom environment and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum, materials, and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Must meet State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) requirements for area of assignment
- Elementary or Secondary level certification in a foundation subject area
- Personal technology enabling remote work (remote work capability when required)
