Job Summary
Plan and direct learning activities of adult incarcerated students, follow the Windham School District curriculum guides, participate in district staff development and faculty meetings, prepare and maintain lesson plans and attendance records, administer diagnostic and curriculum tests, maintain confidentiality and uphold TEA/WSD policies, cooperate with staff to plan and implement instructional goals, demonstrate progress toward student performance targets, and apply knowledge and training using appropriate media to support instruction in a classroom setting under Windham School District and Texas Department of Criminal Justice policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Must meet State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) requirements for area of assignment
- Elementary or Secondary level certification in a foundation subject area
- This position requires personal technology that will enable the completion of job duties and responsibilities when working remotely
