Job Summary
Provide targeted literacy and math intervention for students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade, delivering individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs. Maintain a caseload of students receiving intervention services, conduct ongoing progress monitoring, and analyze data to guide instructional decisions. Partner closely with homeroom teachers to align intervention goals, collaborate on identifying support needs, and prepare progress reports for families and leadership. Oversee The Skola's tutoring program, including direct tutoring services, scheduling, family communication, and summer operations. Assist with academic screening, assessment administration, and the development of intervention systems. This year-round position combines student support with tutoring program management for a school focused on academic growth.

- Collaborate with the Director of Education and Leadership team regarding student outcomes, intervention effectiveness, and school-wide trends
- Partner closely with homeroom teachers to align intervention goals with classroom instruction
- Collaboratively identify students requiring support or intervention
- Participate in student support meetings, data discussions, and instructional planning conversations
- Provide recommendations for accommodations, modifications, intervention strategies, and instructional supports
- Support implementation of school-wide intervention systems and practices
- Maintain regular communication with families regarding student goals, progress, and recommendations
- Partner with families to support learning and growth outside of intervention sessions
- Participate in family meetings as needed
- Ensure communication is clear, timely, and supportive
- Assist with academic screening and assessment of prospective students
- Collaborate with the Director of Education in reviewing assessment results and determining student support needs
- Support development and refinement of intervention, assessment, and progress-monitoring systems
- Assist with school-wide assessment administration and data collection as needed
- Collaborate and participate in assessment data meetings
- Provide approximately 15 hours per week of individualized tutoring services during the school year
- Deliver targeted literacy and math instruction based on student goals and needs
- Create individualized learning goals and instructional plans for tutoring students
- Maintain communication with families regarding progress, recommendations, and scheduling
- Monitor and document student growth
- Coordinate and oversee The Skola's tutoring program throughout the school year and summer
- Serve as the primary contact for tutoring inquiries and enrollment
- Schedule tutoring sessions and manage tutoring calendars
- Coordinate tutor assignments if additional tutors are utilized
- Maintain tutoring records, attendance, and communication systems
- Track tutoring participation and provide billing information to school administration
- Support enrollment growth and sustainability of the tutoring program
- Coordinate and oversee The Skola's summer tutoring program, including enrollment, scheduling, family communication, progress monitoring, and billing support
