Job Summary
The Academic Support Advisor at Hondros College of Nursing will provide advisement, support, and resources to enhance student success and retention. This role includes monitoring probation/repeat students, developing academic plans, collaborating with faculty, and facilitating students' academic skill development. Applicants need an associate's degree (bachelor's preferred) and at least 1-2 years in a higher education student support role, alongside strong organizational and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree required; bachelor's preferred or equivalent experience
- Two years administrative experience or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in higher education in a student support role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in tutoring and advisement, especially with at-risk students
- Strong math and English proficiency
- Experience in working with a diverse student population
