Job Summary
Conduct a full spectrum of general obstetric and gynecologic practice within a community-based academic environment at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Provide medical education to residents and students while maintaining board certification or active candidacy with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Join a team of 19 OB/GYN physicians and 9 Advanced Clinical Practitioners serving nearly one million people in southwestern Virginia. This role offers a faculty appointment at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- full-time Academic Specialist in General Obstetrics and Gynecology
- excellent clinical skills
- enthusiasm for medical education of residents and students
- MD or DO
- board-certified or be an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- eligible for medical licensure in Virginia
