Job Summary
Conduct outpatient rheumatology consultations and manage established patient bases within the medical infusion suite, providing exceptional patient care alongside medical education and scholarly research activities. Fellows manage initial call rotations while attendings serve as secondary coverage, with most duties performed Monday through Friday from 8 to 5, including eight hours of protected administrative time. This academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine supports a collaborative culture that integrates research with holistic care models for diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology by the ABMS or AOA
- Ability to obtain/maintain NH & VT medical licenses and DEA license
- Focus on patient-centered care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Dedication to lifelong learning and professional development
- Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO)
- Post graduate training in residency program
- Current New Hampshire Medical License
- Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification (to be obtained within 5 years)
