Job Summary
Provide academic instruction to students in accordance with approved curricula, covering Reading and ELL. Develop and prepare lessons, recommend curricula changes, and utilize workplace language expectations to relate academic skills to career technical training. Motivate and counsel students regarding behavior, study habits, and personal problems while coordinating with staff to resolve training issues. Review and audit assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and prepare related reports. Full-time, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday. Requires a Bachelor's degree, valid teaching certificate, and one year of instructional experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid teaching certificate, experience with youth, or PRAXIS exams, and communication/computer proficiency
- A Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year instructional experience preferred
