Job Summary
Academic Program Services Consultant provides comprehensive academic advising to undergraduate students in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, monitors academic progress, and connects students to campus resources to promote success. Serves as lead within the HRS Office of Academic Affairs, coordinating advising operations, leading orientation, and managing student records and the Buckeye Degree Planner. Engages in recruitment, student engagement, and signature school events; mentors new advisors and participates in committees and professional development. Responsibilities include curriculum planning, advising staff coordination, handling add/drop/transfer processes, and ensuring consistent advising practices across campuses. Requires collaboration with high schools, regional campuses, and educational professionals to support HRS programs, with occasional evening and weekend responsibilities. Location: Atwell Hall, Columbus, OH; regular daytime hours; On-site role with potential engagement across Columbus and regional campuses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable
- 6 years of relevant experience required
- 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred
