Job Summary

Coordinate academic events including commencement, honor societies, and guest speakers while managing logistics for faculty credentials, course assignments in Blackboard, and student rosters. Oversee day-to-day program functions by scheduling interviews, preparing rooms, tracking expenses, and maintaining accreditation files. Serve as the primary campus contact relaying university policies to faculty, students, and alumni, and provide front desk coverage as needed. Manage student orientations, clinical rotation book orders, and conference attendance records. Work five days per week on the Dallas campus with occasional weekend or evening hours required.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree or vocational training in office skills
  • Minimum of three years of experience as an administrative assistant
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office products such as Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including communicating with tact and discretion
  • Must have excellent project management skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and the ability to build and maintain strong partner relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with the public, supervisors, students, professional staff/faculty and co-workers
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule when required
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Presence on campus 5 days per week
  • Must be able to travel to other campuses to support academic events
  • Must be available for occasional weekend and evening hours

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or vocational training in office skills highly preferred
