Job Summary
Provide obstetrics and gynecology patient care in Cape Coral and Fort Myers while actively teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Engage in clinical and translational research opportunities, with an expectation of scholarly activity for Associate or Professor rank appointments. Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and Florida DEA certifications alongside an MD or DO degree and board eligibility. Practice within the 303-bed Lee Health Cape Coral Hospital, a Magnet-rated facility serving over 100,000 patients annually as part of Florida's largest public health system.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligibility to obtain a Florida state medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
- Completion of an accredited residency program by the time of appointment
- Active BLS and ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- Active and unrestricted Florida DEA
